Our Mission
The Women’s Empowerment Institute (WEI) is a national non-profit organization that provides FREE job skills training and professional development for women in need. Our sole purpose is to help women gain meaningful employment that fundamentally changes their lives by improving their socioeconomic status, reducing their need for social welfare support, and improving the quality of life for themselves and their loved ones.
Established in 2018, the Women's Empowerment Institute (WEI) began serving the Westchester County community by providing personal and professional development workshops for women, ages 18+. Since then, WEI has expanded its membership to women nationally and expanded its services to offer a Job Skills Training Program.

Our Programs
AWS Training Program
The AWS Training program is for women ages 18+ who are seeking to break into tech careers, specifically in cloud software and successfully transition into a different sector of the workforce.
Job Skills Training Program
The Job Skills Training Program (JST) is for women ages 18+ who are seeking real-life work experience to transition successfully into the workforce.
